For the first time since the beginning of Covid, our Columbia Chesed room is open. Chesed 24/7 has had apartments nearby stocked but we are happy to announce that the Chesed room is now open, and our volunteers have stocked it and prepared it for use.

Our Chesed 24/7 hospitality room at Memorial Sloan Kettering is still open, along with rooms in some smaller hospitals.

Chesed 24/7 will be providing meal to hospitals where policy guidelines permit.  We are working very closely with the hospital Chaplains to provide patients with Seder Plates and Hagaddahs.

Our patient liaisons are working tirelessly around the clock to provide support and information to the families. We’ve been fortunate to deliver hospital beds, oxygen machines and other medical supplies to support sick patients at home.

We are delivering Shmura Matzah today to hundreds of patients and medical staff now and through Pesach. We have already supported medical staff with kosher food deliveries and are planning to ramp up our support of the medical staff, who are the true heroes during these times.
