@reece_us @EdgeyDoctour Figured it out. If you use F12 to take a screenshot on Steam it distorts the icon for whatever reason. Took a few and they all have the same issue.

@DegradingBore @AnisDrawn Yeah this is nothing more than a bootleg hack at this point. Obviously devs will need to tweak things to their liking (character faces) before they roll it out in their games. But fun to toy around with nonetheless.
