Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles, felicitated Dr K Vasu, a renowned Ayurvedic doctor and eminent practitioner of the Siddha system of medicine at Headquarters Assam Rifles, Laitkor, Shillong on 08 February 2026, in recognition of his valuable contribution to the well-being of Assam Rifles personnel and their families. Dr K Vasu, alongwith his dedicated team, conducted free medical consultations and holistic treatment sessions for serving personnel of Assam Rifles and their dependents at HQ Assam Rifles, Laitkor, Shillong from 06 February 2026 to 08 February 2026. The initiative focused on promoting holistic healthcare through traditional systems of medicine, addressing both physical and overall wellness.

Over the years, Dr K Vasu has conducted numerous medical clinics, providing valuable healthcare services for the welfare of Assam Rifles personnel and their families. Recently Dr K Vasu conducted a medical workshop at Laitkor for families of Assam Rifles personnel, during which more than 200 individuals were treated.

My mobile number has been barred by @airtelindia without notification.

When I went to Airtel store in Bangalore, they told to go to my home city (3000km from Bangalore) and get it re-verified. Until then I'm not able make any outgoing or take any incoming calls. @BandBajaateRaho
