Quem diria que essa "brincadeira" de Série Vaga-Lume tinha objetivos muito bem definidos: fazer a gente tomar o gosto pela leitura, escrever bem e saber interpretar um texto.
John McAfee, in one of his final messages to the world:
"Is there a deep state? Yes. Can we fire these people? No. Can presidents fire them? No."
"It's designed that way so that political parties and political interests cannot affect the deep state."
"Do you understand the nightmare of our situation, people?"
"Wake up people, please."
So you still think the Titanic sank, and not the Olympic? Pff...
Two ships, made by the same company, built side by side.
Then, in September 1911, a British navy cruiser rammed the Olympic and busted it right open. The Olympic limped home with damage above and below the water, the courts blamed the company, and the repair bill landed on them. No insurance to soften it.
You understand what they did next, right?
A few months later, the "brand new" Titanic set off on her first and last voyage. She took 1,500 people down with her, and the company cashed in one of the biggest insurance payouts of the era.
So with all that in mind, look at the windows, they don't match. Early shipyard photographs show the Titanic with 14 portholes on the C-deck, whereas the Olympic had 16. Then suddenly "the Titanic" had 16 C-deck portholes too.
Maybe my favorite part is that underwater photos show the letters "M" and "P" beneath the flaking paint, right where the name Titanic should be.
So you still want to convince me the Titanic sank? I wish J.P. Morgan were alive, so we could ask him which ship he did NOT get on, and why. 👀💸👇
