From 2016-2021 I woke up at 6:45AM to get on a bus and get to school at 8. It was dark the whole time. Acting like thats gonna be a new thing is stupid. Have an issue with schools starting in the dark? Make them shift their start time. Jeez people.

Kids in northern states, particularly in places further east in their time zones, will be walking and waiting for the morning bus in the dark.

If changing your clock is so burdensome, fine. Go to year-round standard time.
