@gintoki06614 Other studios also work on multiple projects, like science saru for example but their quality of output never gets kneecapped due to workload, all bcoz of their great management for the most part
JC already under delivered s2, and made same mistake again but even worse this time
@gintoki06614 Tbf some blame lies on them too. The fact that most of their prod assistants and anip that were supposed to be in OPM s3 were busy with multiple projects until beginning of 2025 is just ridiculous.
Ppl say Bandai this, Bandai that but equal blame goes to JC's management as well.
@ImNotThatGloomy@YungRinnx@UnknowN535353 I've seen many authors put out their best works when they're struggling and trying to make a name for themselves. But after the success, very few authors can actually carry on delivering the same quality.
@ImNotThatGloomy@YungRinnx@UnknowN535353 It's not the same situation. When he wrote fire punch and csm p1, he was relatively unknown up and coming author.
But by halfway through p2, he was a known name in the industry with a s1, 2 movies of his works and another series covering his other one shots in works.
@UnknowN535353@ImNotThatGloomy Prob bcoz it's pretty self contained arc. You can enjoy reze without even watching s1, you won't be much confused. I know many ppl did it. Plus it's a love story at its core. And has a tragic ending where Mc doesn't even know what happens. It leaves a huge impact on u.
I should prob leave this place soon. Pay is good but working over 9 hours is taking a huge toll on me. I'll prob need to do some search before taking a big step though.
@IIuvatar_ Just scrolled through your account and realized that you never praise anything that comes out of that studio lol. Sad that accounts that celebrate animation are run by ppl with agenda/bias.
Anyway that was strong contender for eoty. Cry bout it. It's subjective anyway.
@SinChiSan_ Ive said this before but JJK post shibuya is a mixed bag in the manga. Anime is making that experience far more enjoyable with these creative choices. I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of s3, this arc/season becomes many anime only's fav.
Gosso is doing God's work for JJK.
@Namaryuu@SinChiSan_ At the end of the day, general consensus is that this arc is a mixed bag in the manga. Its filled with tons and tons of info dumps and unnecessary explanations without much end goal.
If anything anime is making it far more enjoyable than what a standard adaptation could've been.
@chromat1cfire@UnknowN535353 Tbf I think those ppl are still interest in stories, they just don't talk bout it much or at all. Otherwise I'd would've seen far more glaze for shows like Lazarus, Sanda, and Yaiba but from my memory very few ppl were covering those.
@chromat1cfire OK after Jeju I agree they need to slow down and add sum stuff, especially now that they aren't worried bout the show's popularity, it's already popular so they can experiment and expand upon things.
@chromat1cfire Slowing down wouldn't really change ppl's perception of the story. If anything it'd hinder the show's popularity, there's a reason why one of the least interesting ep was anime original ep 8, in long run I barely even remember it and have no motivation to watch reaction vid of it
@chromat1cfire Ehh I feel the opposite, the pacing was one of the reasons why it blew up in the first place. Every ep had sum exciting going on, every ep Mc discovers sum new or meets someone new. It never pretends to do anything more than what it promised, it gives u what u want in every ep.
@NicholasLight Like someone said, in anime community, the only anime that gets talked about are either have god tier adaptation or dog sht adaptation.
Once you have a mid/decent/*only good' adaptation like HP and sakamoto days, ppl won't talk bout it much.
