Dem @derspiegel ist wieder fast die Hand abgefault eine positive News verbreiten zu müssen.

Es ist so komplett symptomatisch, dass es zur perfekten Anschauung von modernem Schundjournalismus taugt:

- 1) Foto ist von einem pre-Facelift original Model S. Das sind exakt die einzigen Fahrzeuge die die neue Technik NICHT nutzen werden, weil AP1 Hardware. Von allen Fotos also schonmal wieder gezielt das falsche genommen.
- 2) Im Artikel werden Untersuchungen der NHTSA in den USA einbzeogen, die überhaupt nichts mit FSD Supervised zu tun haben, und von der eine (bzgl. Smart Summon) bereits eingestellt wurde. Diese Untersuchungen sind teil des normalen Prozesses und es gibt keinerlei Anzeichen dass die Technik eingestellt oder 'unsicher' sein könnte. Tesla und die NHTSA arbeiten seit Jahren gut zusammen und tauschen extensiv Daten aus. FSD in den USA zeigt sich regelmäßig bei schlechter Witterung robuster als z.B. Waymo, die immer noch stark auf LiDAR setzen.
- 3) Was der Verweis auf Gewerkschaften und irrelevante 'Experten' in dem Artikel soll weiß keiner. Die Belegschaft hat sich stark mehrheitlich in Grünheide gegen die Gewerkschaft entschieden. Das nicht anzuerkennen ist respektlos. Abgesehen davon hat es mit der FSD Zulassung nichts zu tun.
- 4) Was 'Elon Musk' in der Überschrift zu suchen hat weiß wohl auch nur der Spiegel. Klickt halt. Diese Zulassung haben primär 2 hart arbeitende Teams bei Tesla und dem niederländischen RDW zu verantworten.
- 5) FSD ist nicht 'umstritten' - natürlich lässt der Spiegel jegliches Zitat der Beurteilung der niederländischen RDW weg, die als eine der strengsten Zulassungsbehörden ganz Europas gilt. Der RDW attestiert dem System einen klaren Sicherheitsbeitrag zum Straßenverkehr und eine erhebliche Entlastung des Fahrers. Das ist über 1.6 Mio km, über 13000 Testfahrten und 1.5 Jahre evaluiert worden. Da ist NICHTS mehr 'umstritten'. Hier ist rigoros geprüft und zertifiziert worden.

Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation. 

Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer.

Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to:

– 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads
– 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs
– 4,500+ track test scenario executions
– Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements
– Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results

We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point.

We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!

I am proud to announce that I have successfully completed the world’s first USA coast to coast fully autonomous drive!

I left the Tesla Diner in Los Angeles 2 days & 20 hours ago, and now have ended in Myrtle Beach, SC (2,732.4 miles)

This was accomplished with Tesla FSD V14.2 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.
