The feds say the Flores Agreement is contributing to the migrant crisis by encouraging people to cross the border with their kids.

The feds want the new rule to take effect next month; Immigration lawyers are asking Gee to block it.

The feds are pushing for a new rule to detain migrant children — and their families — indefinitely.

This would be done by terminating a 1997 court order that limits the detention of kids to some 20 days. It’s called the Flores Settlement Agreement.
