But if he's allowed to declare consecutive 30-day emergencies indefinitely then why does our State Constitution bother to mention a 30-day period at all?

@kost_lou @CWBChicago I think you're right Lou: non-invasive (hopefully non-injurious) screening is the future. That said, problems: (1) Where do the $ come from? (2) 4th Amendment litigation? (3) Countermeasures, eg, you screen for metal so criminal uses wood/nylon/ceramic spike to perforate victims.

@kost_lou @CWBChicago ...to routinely, physically handle ugly/smelly people, while trying to abide by court/dept limitations, & preserve the human dignity of all involved. In/under shoes, clothing, body parts/orifices tobacco, drugs, weapons all make their way to all points of incarceration, everyday.

@chigrl Would that the calendar were the only consideration. Vis-a-vis Biden's Afghan w/drawl, US has signaled receptivity to Russo-Sino advance in Ukraine/Taiwan, I fear. His (pupi's) flamboyant delimitation of domestic exploration/production/transport exacerbates US foreign dependency.

Plasma/platelet uni donors: AB positive
O negative can receive only O negative blood
AB positive can receive any blood
Plasma/platelet donations are as important for some cancer patients as whole blood for trauma/surgery patients.
