@kyxlemusic @himbodhisattva But then you’d have to do that three times a day, and it becomes exceedingly difficult when you’re eating without actually being hungry- since protein keeps you fuller for longer. Then there’s the constipation because you’re likely not eating enough fiber to combat it.

@Read_Meee I really hope you uninvited them. I’m about to have a baby, and I know my priorities will shift and cater towards her needs from now on. I’m not inconveniencing others because of my life choices. Parents aren’t owed the world, and they need to stop acting like they are.

@gladiatorinpink @Read_Meee Then there’s the matter of finding a sitter for the kids on those evenings- and the kids being around in general. They wanted “adult only”. They shouldn’t have to sacrifice their trip by tailoring it for some kids that weren’t supposed to be there in the first place.

@FiatTruth Oh we definitely would. We’re on limited income now, so a lot of things are hard to do these days. And we don’t live in a walkable area- so that’s out. I think being stir crazy is what drove the wedge. And I know he’s lonely because I work, and he doesn’t. I hope it’s temporary.

@FiatTruth He’s also on his phone often and telling me stuff about current wars and current events. I wouldn’t mind that if he didn’t keep doing so during our rare tv time. Or, if he could at least tell me more pleasant news every once in a while. It’s always him shitting on something.

@FiatTruth I understand if I come across as callous, but this is a show I haven’t seen that he wanted to get me into. It’s really hard to focus on important dialogue when- say there’s a celebrity guest star? He’ll talk over scenes telling me their whole filmography. Then talk about those.

@briggityboppity I place my dog in room and board with daycare services. It’s cheaper, and I get every 6th night is free. As for my cats: I ask my dad to stop by the house to make sure they have food/water and clean their boxes. I trust him more, and he also doesn’t charge much. Rover is a scam.

That kind of situation is not worth having over a girlfriend. Those kids absolutely will remember. Even I still remember Pre-K, and I’m 27.

@fifimcfae I used to live near two schools and was walking to my 10am shift at my job- 3 minute walk from my apartment- and I got stopped by a school bus.🤣 Had to show them my ID, but at least they were nice about it.
