July 1 was extraordinary for us at Chickadeefarmherbs. Mama Chickadee went to Edmonton for a prenatal appointment & was sent to hospital because of health concerns. Our newest Chickadee was born July 2. Mama and baby Chickadee are at home trying to catch up to all the emails.

Yesterday we scrambled to plant out all our plants except the marjoram, before a day of rain today. Now it’s just flowered & tomatoes left in the greenhouse.

The rain is on its way, earlier than last nights weather report. So early morning plug out session happening at the kitchen table while little chickadees sleep. During yesterday’s good weather we were putting down mulch mats to help mine reclamation trees.
