@DanielJessep95 @Toe_Jam_Sarnie @toryboypierce I didn’t make an excuse. You cannot deny that those in events happened. Do you think closing the economy for weeks had no effect on incomes? Do you think handing out money when ppl weren’t working had no effect on inflation? Brexit on trade and imports of raw materials?
@DanielJessep95 @Toe_Jam_Sarnie @toryboypierce Its literally scapegoating all the country’s problems on migrants and ignoring the other destabilising factors over the years such as poor leadership, brexit, and the economic cost of covid
@TangoHotel76@BjornLomborg@jordanbpeterson@nypost Countries follow the same trends, no matter what side of the world. Variation in such trends can only go as far as genetics allow. Ie, western humans and Asian humans are more similar because they are humans than they are different due to culture. They follow the same trends.
@TangoHotel76@BjornLomborg@jordanbpeterson@nypost Huh? People and cultures are only as different as their genetics allow them to be. They’re exhibiting the exact same trends as western countries did too. Take Ireland for example. In poverty, it saw extreme population increases before the 1840s, Just as any developing country.
@TangoHotel76@BjornLomborg@jordanbpeterson@nypost No. Populations typically stagnate once countries reach a certain level of development. Look at Germany and Japan. Not enough people are being born there and its becoming a problem for them.
@ScubluvsPercs@Allstar_Type@KingMartemus34@raphousetv2 Walmart sells everything cheap. They just sell a lot of it. They might only make 10 cents profit per dollar bottle of water. Meaning that if one bottle of water was stolen, the worth in profit of 10, one dollar bottles, is wiped out.
@SimpleSiteman @jordanbpeterson Proof of the first point:
- rampant corruption in various communist countries
Proof of the latter point:
- Stalin causing the deaths of millions during famine caused by nationalisation of agriculture.
- deaths of kulaks worth it for the greater good of the utopia
@SimpleSiteman @jordanbpeterson Ideology places it’s faith in humanity’s ability to save itself (The utopia). This doesn’t take into account human’s flawed nature. Ideologists typically believe that the ends justify the means. That means any finite amount of death is worth it for a utopia (infinite perfection)
@JulianoSlk @m_rovell03 @MuffMuncher2222 @nachoghost@RespectfulMemes A lot. Also, given the abundance of those resources, they would cease to be scarce, and would lose their value.
@JulianoSlk @m_rovell03 @MuffMuncher2222 @nachoghost@RespectfulMemes The entire bottom section of this rocket is fuel. The tiny bit at the top is what went to the moon. How much fuel do you think it would take to bring an ore tank to the moon? How much fuel would it take to carry the extra fuel needed to carry said ore tank?
@Corfela@Independent_ie@MichealMartinTD The island of Ireland has a population of 7,026,636. The country has experienced unprecedented growth since the famine. You are making stuff up to support the scapegoating of your problems onto needy immigrants.
