Yes, Karmelo deserves to be punished, but the fact that this created racial division is stupid.

These are young athletes. As many of you know, I have coached kids just like both of these young men.

We need to ask ourselves where society and the community went wrong. This is also why I coach - to hopefully help steer kids in the right direction to not commit an act like this.

The videos of people being allowed in by police, walking inside velvet ropes being led by police and taking selfies with police have been online since the day it happened. The literal proof has been seen by everyone with an inkling of curiosity about the day as millions and millions of Americans witnessed on every TV news channel. A “journalist” above all should have all the facts and have known that. I suspect she did know and was gaslighting which is terrible, if she didn’t know she shouldn’t be a journalist.
