The reality is Baltimore is safer today than it has ever been in my lifetime.
We're not celebrating. We're acknowledging this historic progress and doubling down on it.
We're not going to let anyone—not even the president—push aside that work.
Hey Cousins!
Hope you’re having a good day.
Thought I’d share some more Black Excellence with you. They are the change we need and love to see!

Mayor Brandon Scott, Baltimore in the building 🔥🔥🔥🔥continues to be harassed. May this man be PROTECTED 🫶🏾💯❤️. The RACIST are having a HARD TIME believing, accepting and comprehending, that a BLACK man got in office and did his JOB👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾… Nooooo that’s just too perfect for black man. Let’s destroy this narrative, for our history books. I stand FIRM when I say this wholeeeee system is corrupt. This man made HISTORY for bringing down the crime rate. You RACIST mindsets still got yall stuck in 1970, this ain’t that baby we in a whole different season now. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING yall have set for US will BACKFIRE. I heard the military is going to different states we will see how this ends. Dope JOB BRANDON keep ya foot on thier necks……..
I recently spoke with our inaugural @MBK_Alliance Ambassadors – a group of talented, inspiring young leaders from across the country who are working to give back to their communities. I’m looking forward to following their progress and having them back as alumni to share what they’ve learned. Take a look:
25-yo Brandon "Don" Hollingsworth opened his own laundromat in Queens Village, following in his parents’ footsteps. He sold sneakers to make payments and used their lessons to build his dream. This young entrepreneur is proof that legacy and vision build success. Keep rising!
Colorado RB Charlie Offerdahl announces that he is stepping away from Football due to a serious concussion he sustained.
Coach Prime has elected to continue to aid Offerdahl a scholarship❤️

In Baltimore, we know that gun violence is a public health issue. Now, because of our Comprehensive Violence Prevention Plan, we’re seeing the lowest number of homicides in decades.
Thank you @MSNBC for having me and @randallwoodfin on to discuss our historic progress.
Imagine leading FEMA and not believing in emergency management. You’d think, as a former governor, she’d know what was going on.
But I guess this is what you get when the president’s cabinet is full of unqualified conspiracy theorists.
The American people deserve better.
Whenever I see our kids out there “hustling” I make sure I support them. Especially when they have goals like this young lady. They make me proud. This is us supporting us. Go Trinity! & Thank you King!

Good news: In the first half of 2025, Baltimore had the fewest homicides ever recorded – 62% decrease compared to this time three years ago. The success we’re seeing here isn’t a coincidence, and it’s not limited to Baltimore.
But we can’t rest. In every community, we must continue to confront violence and do all we can to keep Marylanders safe.
