If Service is the motive Turning the Tide in Four Years is Possible

I still find it baffling that my decision to do a term of four years, if given the mandate to rule this country, is generating so much agitation. By this feeling, we are doubting the fact that a sincere leader can achieve much in 48 months.

I have never been desperate in the pursuit of power, or anything else, for that matter. There are some traits associated with desperation, which in no way are in any of my political behaviours in the past and now, like engaging in overly aggressive rhetoric or actions to prove a point or gain attention; becoming overly defensive or reactive to criticism, often to the point of appearing paranoid.
Making unrealistic or unfulfillable promises to win support or approval, resorting to personal attacks or character assassination to discredit opponents or frequently changing positions or policies to suit immediate political needs.

What drives me is not personal ambition, but a deep, commitment to see Nigeria work. And if the sacrifice required of me is four years of sincere, accountable leadership, so be it.

Throughout my political journey, I have never been involved in thuggery, the snatching of ballot boxes, or any form of electoral malpractice. I challenge anyone: conduct your investigations. You will find no stains of rigging or violence associated with my name. I have always chosen the path of peace, principle, and civility.

Ask those who have contested against me—none were ever denied their rights, framed, or falsely accused. None was asked to place their advert materials or break the bank to do so. I believe in fair competition, not manufactured victories.

In four years we can confront corruption head-on, redirecting resources to priority areas. For instance, the trillions used to acquire new presidential jets and other unnecessary expenses at this time could have been channelled into education, healthcare, or infrastructure.

Within the same period, we ensure that the rule is sacrosanct and the rule of law is strictly followed.
Within the same period, we can conduct free, fair and credible elections

Leadership, to me, is not about entitlement. It is about service. If given the mandate, for just one term, I will dedicate every moment to building a Nigeria that works for all. -PO

Those guys cannot think. They recycle the same talking points over & over. Nothing in that camp is close to inspiring. People whose best striker is Reno, what do you expect?

We are unconventional, far from norm. We are not your average Nigerian politicians. We are highly educated, smart; we come from the best of Nigerian respectability, & it vexes them.

They can’t seem to figure out how to dominate this space. Some weeks ago, they thought they had the momentum, they thought they had cracked the puzzle. They imagined that lethargy had taken over the Obidient Camp. So losers began to wax lyrically, showcasing a deep-seated conceited façade. A gaffe on their part.

Play your hand too early, you begin to make mistakes. Pride is your first sin.

I told you “it’s a good thing that losers are decamping under one umbrella,” didn’t I? That is the only way beating them will forever make sense. We have them good, just where we want them. They are making the job of beating them so easy. By grouping under one umbrella, Nigerians will have no difficulty thumbprinting.

2027 is shaping up to be a Psychological Warfare, less propaganda. Bola can only try to propagate what the eyes cannot see. Just like showcasing his so-called achievements on infographics & slides. But the streets are not smiling, the street is where his results are displayed. Nigerians have eyes, & they can see.

If you hold a presidential election today, Peter Obi would win again. Some of the decampees you see today (are going to lose their seats). The only thing left is the determination of Nigerians to secure their victory.

Bola Tinubu is extremely afraid of Peter Obi.

All their recent psyops & decamping didn’t generate the type of buzz they wanted. Wait until the Obidients stage our “2 Million Man March” across major cities next year.

Bola Tinubu is now the Chief Marketer of Peter Obi. His every mistake is Peter’s advantage. Those who never believed in Peter before, have found Asiwaju wanting. So he will have to empty the treasury to buy everything buyable.

But it won’t be enough to safe him. This time? Many believe it is #RigAndDie2027.

Celebrating with our future- The Nigeria Children

On this occasion of the Children's Day Celebration, I celebrate every Nigerian child - the heartbeat of our nation and the bearer of our collective hopes and dreams. Days like this offer us the opportunity to appreciate the immense potential of our children, who represent the hope of a brighter tomorrow in our nation if only we care for them today. They deserve a nation that prioritises their well-being, education, safety, and future.

A 2023 report from UNICEF estimates that over 110 million people under the age of 18 live in Nigeria. This represents a significant portion of the country's population and demonstrates how young our nation is. Such high numbers of young people in Nigeria should challenge us, as leaders, to commit wholeheartedly to investing in the future of the children. Their future is the future of the nation.

Unfortunately, the Nigerian child is faced with many existential challenges right from birth. Nigeria today is among the nations with the highest infant mortality rates in the world. A Nigerian child who survives at birth is faced with hunger and malnutrition in early childhood. A 2024 report from UNICEF indicates that around 11 million Nigerian children were experiencing severe child food poverty. It is also indicated that one in four children under the age of five are stunted, especially in rural and remote areas due to malnutrition.

Our nation today is home to over 18 million out-of-school children, among the highest in the world. This is not just a statistic - it is a deep national wound. Each out-of-school child represents a dream deferred, a future endangered, and a country that is failing to uphold its most sacred responsibility. The streets have become classrooms for too many, while our actual schools remain underfunded, unsafe, or inaccessible. Education, especially at the basic level, remains the right of every Nigerian child. Denying them such rights by not investing in their education is simply denying them the beautiful future ahead of them. The primary healthcare that should cater for the basic healthcare needs of our children is practically non-existent.

We cannot also ignore the threats posed by violence, kidnapping, and abuse. Insecurity has forced thousands of children to flee their homes, live in fear, or grow up in regions where dreams are stifled by conflict. Most children are forced, by these harsh realities, to abandon their dreams and survive by any means. A 2022 report from the National Bureau of Statistics found that 46.5% of children aged 5-14 were engaged in child labour. It is heartbreaking to see the future of our children jeopardised when they should be nurtured.

Thus, in their journey of life, an average Nigerian child has a long stretch of difficult road, filled with many existential challenges, ahead of them.

Yet, in the face of all these difficulties, many Nigerian children continue to show exceptional resilience, creativity and talent. Our duty as leaders, and indeed compatriots, is to encourage the children, inspire greatness in them and support their journey. Their dreams are valid and we must invest in their future, our future!

I, therefore, reaffirm my commitment to building a nation where every Nigerian child can feel secure, grow in peace, enjoy good access to education and health and have the enabling environment to pursue their dreams and contribute productively to societal development. We must build a nation where no child is left behind and where the child of a nobody can become somebody through hard work and productivity.

Happy Children's Day to all Nigerian children. I want you to know that you are not forgotten. We see your struggles, your strength, and your light. We will continue to fight for a Nigeria where you can dream freely, learn safely, and rise boldly. That is the country we must build, and we owe you nothing less.

URGENT FUNDRAISING FOR QUADRI ALABI

Following my discussion with the family of Quadri Alabi and at their request, I hereby appeal to all conscientious organizations, individuals, and corporate entities to offer immediate financial assistance to Quadri to enable him and his family relocate from their present community and home.

Amukoko is no longer safe for them, those behind his travails can easily target him or his family members again.

This appeal has become imperative due to active threats to Quadri and his family. As at this morning, they still received threats.

Upon the release of Quadri at the court, it became apparent that it is no longer safe for them to return to their home. Due to the urgency and severity of the situation, we have paid for and lodged them in a hotel for tonight.

In addition to the necessity of relocation, Quadri’s mother who is a ‘petty trader’, has also pleaded with Nigerians to assist her financially to enable her cater for herself and her children. Her husband (Quadri’s father) is deceased.

Finally, we need to rehabilitate Quadri for him to be useful to himself and the society. He has expressed a desire to go to school. He is also open to acquiring a skill.

I am pleased to share that Quadri Alabi is going be produced by the authorities of the Nigerian Correctional Service before the Court tomorrow by 9 AM.

His case was supposed to come up before the court on 28th April, 2025.

We wrote to the Court to vary the date and to fix the case for tomorrow, Thursday 17th April. The DPP equally made the same application.

I am delighted to confirm that the variation application has been granted and hearing date has been varied and brought forward as prayed.

We will be with Quadri and his family at the Apapa Magistrate Court located at Orege, Ajegunle - Sikiru Adagun Courthouse (Court No. 9).

The reason for this development will be provided at the court

History will vindicate the just.

PA AYO ADEBANJO WAS AN INSPIRATIONAL OBIDIENT.

The news of the demise of the chieftain of the Pan Yoruba Socio-political Organization Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, struck us like a cyclone, still in sadness and great shock.

Pa Adebanjo is one of the pillars that the expectant New Nigeria is standing on. His legacies and pluck etched his name on the annals of history as a great countryman, with indelible proofs of patriotism and heroism.

Pa Adebanjo will forever be remembered as that selfless leader who sacrificed his lifetime as an upholder and proponent of true democracy and the Rule of Law. His commitment and steadfastness in leadership craftsmanship are reflected in the monumental achievement of the Afenifere organization.

Myself and the OBIDIENTS extend our condolences to his family, his friends, the good people of Ogun State, the Afenifere Organization and everyone he has left a lasting impact on their lives in our Nation.

It is our earnest desire that more people like Pa Adebanjo are birthed in our democratic space who will uphold the unity of our Nation and are willing to work tirelessly for the progress of a united victorious front as One Blessed Nation, our differences regardless.
With the likes of Pa Adebanjo on a united front, despite the dividing lines of language, race and religion, A New Nigeria is POssible.

Western and European countries should impose more visa restrictions on Nigerian public officials.

Nothing hurts them more than denying them entry into countries where sanity prevails.

They love the benefits of good governance abroad which they’ve denied Nigerians of.
