Solana is still the most immature chain for NFTs.
It will probably never surpass ETH until the culture is fixed.
A prime example is literally in the communities.
- If you build multiple things? Too confusing.
- Not dropping once a week? Not active enough.
- Why not do X,Y,Z? Community thinks money grows on trees.
- FP down, WEN, WEN, WEN? Same people are microtrading and paperhanding.
- 99% of community complains before reading an announcement.
- Community can't even diamond hand one free mint to save their life (or coin) then will bitch that people are pumping and dumping on them.
This list goes on, and on, and on.
And the sad part is that this happens to every project.
Take for example @genuinearticles - FP went down from an ATH in the bear by what? 20-30% and people started to freak out a bit. After @genuinearticles has invested thousands of dollars in their own money.
There is a very rare and small amount of appreciation in the space for what founders do or have done.
People will celebrate million dollar raises that have done virtually nothing and criticize people who raise less than a quarter of a million and have delivered on everything the promised.
On ETH, the behavior is completely opposite to this - announcements are very few and far between and allow for projects to create quality launches.
It is no surprise that nobody can accomplish anything meaningful outside of volume on Solana because the buyers and holders are absolutely the wrong target for any form of growth and by meaningful, I mean BAYC + DeGods numbers.
DeGods thrives off of having a group of holders that think and function differently - @frankdegods has done a great job of targeting and onboarding those people and their friends.
If we want solana to succeed, we need to wake the fuck up and start acting better.
Seriously, why is Clayno not 200+ FP?
Because solana is shit.
