You will notice Dickson allowed Kwankwaso to field all his loyalists in Kano, Taraba, Nasarawa, and other Northern states while he has been dealing with Obi's followers down in the South and FCT.

Dickson knows Obi isn't going anywhere in 2027.

However, he wants to use Obi to corner necessary loyalists in the South East and South South while building a national name for himself.

I assume Dickson and Kwankwaso are having meetings behind Obi scheming for 2031 already while fooling the desperate Agulu man who joined three parties in three months.
