Americans pay the taxes that fund the programs replacing them. Those same dollars get a cut kicked back to the people who wrote the laws that keep the pipeline open. The public never sees the full path because the people collecting the money control the reporting rules.
Senators and House members become millionaires inside a term or two. Their time goes to the donors who write the largest checks to the RNC, the DNC, or their own accounts.
Constituents get the scripted speech with a promise of a bill they will never bring to a vote. Countless Visa bills, the Save America Act, and others are nothing but eye candy and when push comes to shove politicians have to choose between their constituents and the fat checks that somehow make them millionaires.
We lose every single time.
Watching Scott Pressler @ScottPresler show up at John Thune's South Dakota speaking engagement and be denied entry was symbolic of our access to what we voted for.
The goons that laughed in his face and threw him out was a thumb in our eye.
The people writing the checks get the meeting, the amendment, and the outcome. That is the affiliate model running on public money.
The fix is simple and already exists for everyone else. Require the same real-time transparency they demand from businesses, nonprofits, and citizens.
Publish every donor meeting, every model bill received, every PAC or leadership PAC transfer, and every post-office job or speaking fee within 30 days. Put the filings in one public database with no exemptions for “security” or “ongoing investigations.”
If any lobbyist or foreign interest funds the campaign that writes the visa and spending rules, the public should see the exact amount and the exact vote that followed.
They already require citizens to report income, assets, and foreign contacts. Apply the identical standard to the people writing the rules that spend the money. The moment the public can track the dollar from the taxpayer to the replacement program to the politician’s account, the incentive changes.

The President's appointed staff have set up their own individual sites for reporting fraud and abuse when sites had already existed.
It would be speculative to think that the current systems are not working due to political staffing concerns. At the same time, you have to recognize that it would be hard to prove either way. The one way to ensure reports came through would be to establish new portals that specific folks had access to.
AAG Harmeet Dhillon publicly asked for tips on citizenship discrimination in hiring and PERM listings. She directed people to email [email protected]. That is the Immigrant and Employee Rights section inside the Justice Department Civil Rights Division. She has also pointed people to the page at https://t.co/W0d0ltaPKa for reports on unfair visa practices that hurt American workers.
Vice President JD Vance and the White House launched the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program. Tips go to https://t.co/KUP7nN7lM9. Eligible tipsters can receive a commission if the information leads to a successful fraud conviction.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent directed FinCEN to open a dedicated whistleblower page at https://t.co/R9MAfo5d7U. Tips there cover fraud, money laundering, and sanctions violations. Eligible tipsters can receive 10 to 30 percent of the fines collected when a tip produces an enforcement action.
ICE still runs the longstanding tip line at 866-347-2423 (866-DHS-2-ICE). The online form is on https://t.co/JNg818OxPG. From outside the United States the number is 802-872-6199. The current administration has added resources to the line and created specialized reporting channels, including one for commercial driver’s license fraud.
The State Department opened a new online visa fraud tip portal. USCIS maintains its own online tip form for benefit fraud.
These are the actual addresses and numbers:
- [email protected] (Harmeet Dhillon / Civil Rights, citizenship discrimination and PERM)
- https://t.co/KUP7nN7lM9 (White House / JD Vance fraud whistleblower program)
- https://t.co/R9MAfo5d7U (Bessent / Treasury, fraud, money laundering, sanctions)
- 866-347-2423 and https://t.co/JNg818OxPG tip form (ICE)
- State Department visa fraud portal (new)
The older ICE and USCIS channels still exist and still take volume. The newer ones sit under specific appointees and, in several cases, carry financial rewards for successful tips. Whether any given tip moves depends on prioritization and field capacity. The public record shows parallel intake points that leadership controls directly.

If you think they are running a campaign costing this much money to protect someone from an 'uncomfortable' hug that has gone on for millennia - you are the pathetic one.
BTW- associating the Klan with hugs between family members being a bad thing is a stretch.
Is that why you never get hugs?

African migration into Europe and the United States is not random. It is coordinated and carefully planned by paid strategists inside governments, UN agencies, and non-profits who write the policies, run the transit centers, and manage the grant money.
They manage both legal and illegal migration- as globalists they have little concern for laws.
The people most impacted by the arrivals pay for most of it.
European taxpayers fund the European Commission programs, the Emergency Trust Fund for Africa, and large shares of the International Organization for Migration’s work along the Central Mediterranean and West African routes. Member states such as Germany, Italy, Spain, and Denmark have written the biggest checks. The United States has contributed to the UN Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund that finances Global Compact implementation.
Private foundations add smaller amounts to advocacy groups. The receiving countries’ own tax bases cover the reception, housing, medical, and administrative costs once people arrive.
The paid strategists have names. These are the folks influencing community leaders to allow the surges with incentives we are never aware of.
Amy Pope is Director General of the International Organization for Migration. She oversees the EU-IOM Joint Initiative for protection, voluntary return, and reintegration and chairs the Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund.
Susanne Raab is Director General of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development, the body that runs the Africa-EU Migration and Mobility Dialogue and hands out grants to civil-society organizations and diaspora groups.
On the African Union side, Amb. Amma Twum-Amoah serves as Commissioner for Health, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, the portfolio that covers continental migration policy, and Dr. Sabelo Mbokazi heads the Labour, Employment and Migration Division.
In Spain, Pilar Samanes Ara is president of ACCEM, the NGO that reported roughly 225 million euros in 2024 revenue, most of it from the Spanish government, for reception and transfers from the Canary Islands.
On the ground, Red Cross societies handle route-based assistance. Criminal smuggling networks fill the gaps the official system leaves open and charge thousands of euros per person.
The stated goals in the official documents are safe and regular pathways, protection from smugglers, remittances for origin countries, and managed labor mobility. The practical result is a system that keeps routes open, funds the organizations that service the routes, and creates political pressure for more pathways even while governments announce enforcement.
Investigations have already mapped pieces of it. A Washington Post and Lighthouse Reports project documented European money flowing to North African governments that conducted mass detentions and desert pushbacks. Undercover reporting has followed West African departures from Mauritania through the Canary Islands into mainland Spain and onward. Europol and national police forces have dismantled multiple smuggling networks. The funding numbers and program descriptions sit in public EU and IOM documents.
The coordination is not hidden. It is written into partnership agreements, trust-fund budgets, and grant calls. The people who pay the taxes that keep the system running are the same people whose schools, hospitals, and housing markets absorb the results.

Ever wonder how a senator can spend years in Washington, deliver almost none of the spending cuts, immigration limits, or job protections that were promised, and still get reelected?
The term is six years. That is the whole setup.
Year one the promises fade. The election is over. The campaign donors still have the senator’s personal phone number and email. The lobbyists still get the scheduled meetings and the return calls. The ordinary voter who put the person there has almost none of that access for the next five years.
They have a saying in DC- the voters have the memory of a goldfish.
Years two through four the regular business takes over. Party leadership controls committee assignments and decides which bills get a hearing or a floor vote. Donor networks and political action committees keep writing the checks. Local chambers of commerce, employers, and party officials get used to dealing with the current office. When a bill stalls, the senator can point at the House, the other party, the Senate leader, or a colleague who is not up for reelection for three more years.
Everybody has an explanation. The bill does not move. That's by design and you never get an actual name of who is holding you up and if you do they are never up for the next primary.
The staggered terms make it cleaner. The senator facing voters this cycle can stand up and demand the vote. The senators who are safe until the next election do not have to take it. The campaign promise stays on the website. The legislation does not pass.
Year five the seat gets protected. The party committees and outside spending groups already know which donors gave last time. Local endorsements from county parties, business groups, and key employers stay with the person already in the chair. A serious primary challenger starts with almost no money and no name recognition. The incumbent starts with the war chest, the name people already know, and six years of constituent-service mail and casework.
Year six Washington remembers the state. Ribbon cuttings. Town halls. Photographs with veterans. Announcements about federal grants coming home. Bills they propose but will never vote on. Fresh newsletters and another round of promises about what will happen if the voters give them six more years.
What does not get the same attention is the short list. Which of the last campaign promises on spending, immigration, or jobs actually became law. Which votes the senator personally cast. Which bills the senator sponsored that never left committee. Who wrote the campaign checks. What happened to the senator’s personal stock accounts while the person was in office.
Then the exit. Some former senators and senior staff move into lobbying firms, consulting shops, or corporate advocacy jobs where the Washington contacts are worth money. Others stay in the Senate for decades. Stock trading continues on the same access. Senators receive briefings and sit on committees that see information before the public does. Disclosure rules exist. A lot of Americans still do not think those rules are enough.
Six-year terms. Seats that are hard to lose. Donor lists that outlast any one election. Party committees that know where to spend. Delayed votes. Committee access that can move a personal portfolio. A lobbying or consulting job waiting on the other side. Each piece has a polite explanation. Together they make it easier to keep the seat than to pass the spending cuts, the immigration limits, or the job protections that were promised.
A senator can serve the full term without a major bill on those issues. They can campaign on the same problems for twenty years. When the cycle ends they ask for six more years to finish the job.
Stop measuring the speech. Measure which of the promised bills actually passed.

When a Private Equity took over my company froze wages and canceled every single employee benefit and were overheard telling the VP's to create an atmosphere for folks to want to leave ->
- I stopped working for my company and started working for my customers. That was my motivation to come to work each day.
I literally had no boss I was the GM of my high dollar cutting edge product that I created from scratch and commercialized with constant internal resistance. As a result after the first 50 million in orders - Siemens had let me run it bumper to bumper before the spin out.
When PE demanded I betray my semiconductor customers with poor quality, over priced components that their other company made... Which would have me working overtime to support in 7 day a week task force meetings- I left.
Went and developed new products for a company in SW Florida.
The PE went through 3 other employees that came in to take my place in a little over a year before losing a customer that was 40% of their bottom line with 60% margins.
I had two people I didn't know and my old customer calling me at all hours of the day nearly suicidal. I calmly explained what Kobayashi Maru was.
There was simply no solution.
The PE didn't care they spun the company off and got rich for it.
We aren't talking about thousands here we are talking billions.
Meanwhile, I am the one with the bad reputation.
They didn't do a single illegal thing either.
This is Private Equity explained in a single post
@MMeridew37852@suetoddph There is a danger that it is hijacked. I think the danger is to our establishment politicians though.
Ron Desantis has discussed this- more than half are conservative and each state gets one vote.
Right?

The more everything runs through one grid, one network, one system, the more one failure shuts down everybody.
After Hurricane Ian I had a cellphone and hearing aid charging station on a table in the driveway for the neighbors.
Self-reliance starts small. You want more than one way to charge.
This FEELLE power bank charges from the wall, from its solar panels, or from a hand crank. Built-in cables and a flashlight with an SOS mode.

@MMeridew37852 I saw a company make a ceramic filter that lasted forever.
They went out of business.
No repeat sales.
I had a clutch plate on a car I drove for 430,000 miles that cost only 2x.
That company also went under.
I will do a post on it.
**Engineering Wednesday**
I left a private-equity company to go to a tech company in southwest Florida.
A company where the last product took 7 years to develop and still had issues. I stepped in and started fundamental waterfall and agile training and execution. 17 products in 3 years.
The second it worked in a lab or on a bench it went to the customer to give feedback. TRL 3 to 9 go go... We were having a blast and our customers loved us- I took the semiconductor philosophy to another field.
We were doing product development for international customers including governments, our own, as well. The work required real certifications and intense testing. Revenue moved from about $15 million to $51 million. That meant expanding manufacturing. The CEO came to the site and said he never expected to be there. The division existed to fill a portfolio gap and show vertical integration- it was never supposed to be profitable. This was a multi billion dollar company that we were a small division of.
Then the CEO said we had become a problem. The profits were uncomfortable. He did not want to issue a dividend that the shareholders would start to expect. So the money needed to be spent.
Buy environmental chambers, shaker tables, Keysight Oscilloscopes with all the bells and whistles is what I did. Investing in our ability pretest and move our launches up even quicker but this was not making folks happy because the investment was resulting in even more revenue and margin.
Read that again, because every word of it is true.
After that unexpected boost in revenue the spending arrived. Consultants we did not need, with direct ownership ties to leadership we were told to employ for ridiculous services we did not need. Contracts with no schedule and no deliverable. Product that left as empty boxes and came back as refunds and charges and our quality manager hit the exit door saying the amount of money involved was enough to make her think the mob was involved.
In the quarterly reviews the plant manager explained low or negative cost of goods.
That number is not possible if you are actually building what you ship.
I called the SEC. The response was that they needed at least $20 million in identified theft before they would move. They had limited agents and limited court time. I reported it inside the company as well. The director an attorney, below the person I reported ethical misconduct to called and told me the contracts without schedules or deliverables for massive amounts of money were fine to sign.
I left- I was not going to get caught up in it. They tried one time to cut me in and my questions made them uncomfortable.
I left and soon after half my team left too.
Six months later they removed the VP who I reported to, the general manager, the lawyers, and the others I had named internally.
To be clear if I had known - I would have stayed, I was very happy and couldn't wait to get up in the morning and make stuff.
Corruption is a buzz kill to innovators.
I had already moved into defense contracting trying to commercialize with people who had never sold on the open market. There the priority was charging hours, not hitting a number a customer would pay. It was bizarre.
The sequence is not unusual. Build something that works. Watch the margin appear. Then watch the margin get treated as a balance that has to be moved before anyone outside the deal notices it. The customer and the employee are both downstream of that decision.
Question:
Have you watched a division get punished for overperforming?
@BoodroTex@RonDeSantis the only politician to actually do something that made a difference. I gave $ to his campaign for that.
Others promise and do not deliver.
@realBrandonGill@KenPaxtonTX This alone was worth @JohnCornyn losing.
They never worked for us. Primaries are a good thing.
It's also weird that John has not specified how Paxton is bad for the voters ... Instead bad for his lobbyists.
