A video has emerged showing the aftermath of a deadly gun battle between Nigeria Police officers and heavily armed suspected terrorists in Kebbi State.

Ten police officers and two civilians were killed in the encounter along the Rafin Makuku axis of Sakaba Local Government Area.

According to the Nigeria Police Force, officers intercepted the armed group near the Kebbi-Zamfara border.

Seventeen suspected terrorists were reportedly killed during the gun battle, while two police officers were injured.
