Ossoff demolishes Hegseth -- then Hegseth has an epic crashout
Sen. Jon Ossoff used Hegseth's premature declarations of victory against him during his Senate testimony, repeatedly reading back statements Hegseth made in March and April about Iran's military being "destroyed" and "obliterated" and asking him if he stands by them.
After Hegseth spent five minutes dodging, Ossoff concluded by noting that "you will not answer whether your statement made on the 14th day of the war that Iran's military was 'destroyed and made combat ineffective' was a truthful statement to the American people as you sit here and ask for tens of billions more."
A reeling Hegseth then crashed out in response to a similar line of questioning from Sen. Gary Peters, snapping at him that "you have Trump derangement syndrome!"
Peters replied to Hegseth that "you, sir, are the failure," as Susan Collins brought the hearing to an abrupt close.
Here's all of Ossoff's questioning followed by Hegseth's tantrum:
An ICE officer is trained for 71 days. It takes 150 days to become a certified pet stylist at Petco. One grooms dogs… the other carry’s guns. This is what’s wrong with our country.
Here is a list of some of the restaurants who use Taylor Farms lettuce so you decide whether you trust it or not. 💩

It’s worth noting that Taco Bell identified the source before the FDA did and promptly pulled it. Basically, Taco Bell is now a more reliable authority than the FDA
Watching ICE agents literally run away from a Mount Laurel Starbucks without their coffee because the neighborhood completely rejected them is pure gold. South Jersey will make you unwelcome every single time you show your faces. #DemsUnited
BREAKING: Reports indicate ICE agents have been told the FBI will no longer investigate certain confrontations involving ICE personnel.
The move would reduce independent federal oversight of immigration enforcement at a time when the agency is already under intense scrutiny following recent deadly incidents involving ICE agents.
If true, this raises serious questions about accountability. No federal law enforcement agency should be beyond independent investigation.
Enough is enough.
Today I made an unannounced visit to ICE’s facility in Scarborough, Maine. What I heard was unacceptable: no body cameras, no training, and no accountability. Johan Guerrero should be alive. Congress must act. Abolish ICE. End qualified immunity.
The @RedSox were 37-48 on July 1. They have not lost since and are now 48-48.
No other MLB team in the 21st century has gone from being 10+ games under .500 to being even .500 without losing a single game.
