I walked those same halls @stlcountypd Behind every badge is somebody’s family member who chose service. Whatever you feel about policing , no family deserves that knock on the door. 45 years, Never forgotten. Rest easy, Officer Jordan.
Today, we remember Officer Robert T. Jordan, who gave his life in service on May 16, 1981. His sacrifice stands as a lasting reminder of the courage it takes to protect others.

A Lifetime DAISY Award recognizes extraordinary nurses, but what makes me proud is who she is when nobody’s watching. The same compassion, strength, and grace patients see in the hospital is the same love our family gets every single day. Well deserved, babe.
This story breaks my heart. 30 years protecting this community, died in triple digit heat serving his city. The state ruled it. It’s already hard enough to recruit good people to this profession. Honor the ones who gave everything. Do right by the Browns. #LineOfDuty
St. Louis police captain died from heat exhaustion serving in the tornado zone. Nearly a year later, his department still won't call it a 'line of duty' death. https://t.co/FSupZDXUFS
Never Forgotten: Today, we honor Detective Lawrence J. McCormack, who gave his life in the line of duty on April 14, 1989. His sacrifice and service will always be remembered.
Brrrr! The wind is whipping up. A home without heating and weatherization is dangerously cold. Check on neighbors with small kids and seniors. If you can’t get out, it’s https://t.co/yzl3383zBx - Select only the link in your area. Let’s get some primary heating going!
When people talk about nurses who truly care, they’re talking about my wife. DAISY Award winner, patient advocate, and the most compassionate professional I know. If you ever have her as your nurse, you’re in the best hands possible. So proud. So grateful.
Congratulations Officer Johnson!
On July 12, 2024, four suspects were involved in an armed carjacking. After a description of the suspects vehicle was broadcast, Officer Johnson spotted the car on Redman Road and initiated a pursuit through the North County Precinct. The vehicle eventually crashed, and all four suspects were taken into custody with assistance from other officers. Officer Johnson’s efforts led to the arrest of multiple dangerous offenders, and warrants for Resisting Arrest were later issued through Family Court with no bond allowed.
Never Forgotten:
Today, we honor the memory of Officer Thomas G. Smith, Jr., who died in the line of duty on December 5, 1997. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Ferguson PD vs. Berkeley PD ended with a Ferguson win,
but yesterday wasn’t about the scoreboard. The day belonged to TJ , his courage, his fight, his spirit. Happy Birthday, brother! Keep pushing.
Let’s hope today, Tuesday with the chill weather we can get the utilities to avoid disruption of services. November begins the CWR (Cold Weather Rule) during really cold temps household can pay less on bills with no shut offs. This goes thru the end of March, 2026. Let’s hope!
Had a gentleman stop by the station today just to show me his “4AHERO” plate. Said it was his way of honoring those who serve and protect. Small moments like that mean a lot. Appreciate the continued love and support from our community. #FergusonPD#CommunityStrong
Flew to Omaha this past weekend to visit Officer Brown— one of our own who was seriously injured in the line of duty. I had the honor of draping him with The Wounded Blue’s Blue Heart Award.
Last night, Ferguson showed OUT! We doubled neighborhood participation from last year’s #NationalNightOut , proof that when community and police link up, powerful things happen.Thank you, Ferguson. This is what progress looks like. 👏 #FergusonStrong#CommunityFirst
Never Forgotten:
Today, we honor the memory of Officer Blake C. Snyder, who died in the line of duty on October 6, 2016. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

31 years ago, I was blessed to marry the love of my life. She’s been my anchor, my partner, and my greatest gift. I’m grateful for every moment we’ve shared and every chapter still to come. Happy Anniversary, my love. #31Years
Yes, gunfire is down 31%. But that number is meaningless to me if you still have a fear of crime and don't feel safe coming outside. The bottom line is this: The true measure of safety isn't a statistic, It's when our community is no longer afraid. #CommunityOverStats
