BREAKING: GAUNTLET THROWN! Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear sends a formal letter to Mitch McConnell's office demanding an update on his health amidst rumors that the senator is braindead.
The cat is about to leap yowling out of the bag...
“Over the last several weeks, Kentuckians have grown increasingly concerned about the health and well-being of Sen. McConnell. I am requesting the Senator provide an update on his current health status," the letter reads.
Three weeks ago, McConnell was hospitalized after suffering a cardiac arrest and receiving CPR. Immediately after he was admitted, his wife Elaine Chao suspiciously flew straight to China to meet high-ranking CCP officials, stoking speculation that she was updating them on McConnell's possible demise.
Since then, independent reporters have suggested that McConnell is braindead, which would certainly track with the habit of bizarrely freezing up and falling that has been observed from the senator over the past year. His office has offered no real updates to his constituents.
“Allowing speculation to continue in the media is not fair to the Senator or to Kentuckians, and my hope is that this provides him the opportunity to share the information in a transparent manner, direct from the source,” wrote Beshear. “I wish him a safe and speedy recovery.”
If indeed McConnell is permanently incapacitated, Governor Beshear would appoint a replacement to fill his seat from a list of names provided by the state's Republican Party. A special election would then be held and some are already urging Congressman Thomas Massie, a sworn enemy of Donald Trump, to run.
Whatever the truth of the matter here, McConnell owes an explanation to the people of Kentucky. If he is alive and intends to return to his duties, it would be a simple matter to release a photo or video as proof of life. If the worst has befallen him, his office must immediately release that information so that the wheels of democracy may continue to turn.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Governor Beshear!
FIFA loves Messi, the world loves Ronaldo.
Like I said, Ronaldo is bigger than the World Cup; he doesn't need a trophy to prove he's the greatest. ⚽🐐🇵🇹
New York City Mayor Mamdani just gave one of the most amazing speeches you will ever hear:
"We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, and more powerful than everyone else.
"The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here, nothing is fixed into place. The frontier may be closed. We may have walked on the moon. But the work of fulfilling the values first enshrined in the Declaration of Independence — that work endures, and it belongs to us all.
"It belongs, too, to our newest Americans: those standing here with me today, all of whom were recently naturalized. Nearly a decade ago, I, too, felt what you feel: the joy of no longer being just a New Yorker, but an American, too.
"You each hold a special power: the power to determine what America means.
"The powerful have always known their answer. America, in their view, is an arena of supremacy where only a select few are allowed freedom; where not all are created equal. America, if you ask them, becomes less the more people it welcomes. America, they will tell you, belongs only to those with the right accent or the right shade of skin. The rest of us, they insist, should be grateful for merely being allowed to visit.
"How small they are. How weak. How unoriginal.
"At every moment in our past, those who led through exclusion and isolation have tried to win power and enrich themselves by turning us against one another. Division is the oldest trick in politics — and the cheapest.
"But time and again, including 250 years ago, those forces of division have been vanquished by the forces of progress."

Good morning and Happy Monday to everyone who agrees that it's NOT far left to want universal healthcare, or to be able to afford housing and food, and paid family leave. The rest of the world has it.
If America is so great, why don't WE have it?
"The (LGBTQ+) community makes America more American with its mobilization and speaking out for its rights."
Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi applauded the LGTBQ+ community during the San Francisco Pride Parade saying they make America more American as the country gets ready to celebrate its 250th anniversary. For the latest, click the link below https://t.co/maxiNjqdms
Ossoff: “The election deniers, they tell a lie so absurd, and therefore so debasing to tell, that the act of telling it proves the teller's total and humiliating submission.
And you may have seen that one of those election deniers now asks to represent Georgia in the Senate. [Mike Collins], who supports war and cutting your health care and openly associates himself with bigotry and antisemitism, who defends the violent mob that sacked the Capitol on the morning of January 6th, 2021…
To this day, this man makes excuses for those who carried out an attack to throw out your votes and install a defeated President.”
Retweet if you stand by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni against Trump. Her Quote ‘Italy And I Never Beg’ 🇮🇹

More than 40 years ago, I arrived in Chicago in search of an idea. I was a young man looking for purpose, who believed deeply in America, was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, and wanted to be a part of something larger. The America I believed in was one where everyone has opportunity, everyone is seen, everyone belongs—because that was an America that had a place for me, too.

Wilson Cruz: I want to remind you that this is Pride Month in America.
And while we are very, very proud this year, our rainbow flag is battle-worn. Because this spring, blocks from this theater, the Pride flag was removed from the national memorial of the Stonewall uprising—and it was only returned when activists brought it back themselves.
