Ever noticed how everyone is suddenly running after GPUs? Startups researchers even entire countries. It's not hype compute power has literally become the new oil. Let's talk about why GPUs are now the world's most valuable resource. ⚤ A few yrs ago the big race was for data. Now it’s for compute. Bcz data is useless if you don't have the power to process it. AI today isn’t limited by ideas it's limited by hardware access. ⚤OpenAI Anthropic Google xAI all of them control massive GPU clusters. They get first access to chips and cloud space. Startups n small teams? They wait in line pay crazy rates, or skip experiments. ⚤That's why many good ideas never become real projects. Not bcz people lack talent but bcz compute is just too costly and limited rn. The entire AI world runs on a handful of big data centres. That's not open innovation that's dependence. ⚤The bigger issue isn't price it's control. One company (NVIDIA) dominates the hardware. A few clouds (AWS Google Cloud Azure) dominate access. Everyone else rents from them. It's like having money but no land to build on. ⚤This is where projects like Gensyn come in not as buzzwords but as new ways to share compute power.
