With England's solid defense and the Netherlands' attacking prowess, it’s set to be a tactical battle. This battle between two giants of European football looks hard to predict on paper, but looking at how they played in previous matches it should be The Netherlands who win the match. Their goals in previous matches were scored not only by players from the starting 11, but also by substitutes, moreover the game played by La Roja is simply beautiful to the eye and also very effective. In turn, the French national team did not impress at this tournament, having problems with maintaining an offensive style of play and scoring goals from the field. Nevertheless, Spain will play this match without several key players (Dani Carvajal, Robin Le Normand, Pedri), while three colors squad looks ready.

Although in case of Pepe, the coach must undoubtedly wonder whether the Portuguese 41-year-old defensive veteran will be able to stop the ultra-fast (Mbappe, Dembele or Coman) French wingers.

Due to the form and style presented by both teams in this tournament, match in Düsseldorf doesn't look to be very exciting. Nevertheless, it should be remembered that this will be a meeting of the second (France) and third (Belgium) teams in the current FIFA ranking. Additionally, each of them has a player (K. Mbappe - France) and K. De Bruyne - Belgium) considered, not only in their own country, to be the best in the world. Les Blues coach D. Deschamps points out that with the beginning of the play-off phase, his team is starting with the awareness of a new type of play. The potential of the Tricolores is definitely higher than what would result from the differences in the places occupied by these teams in the mentioned FIFA classification. However, this does not mean that the Belgian Red Devils will give up easily which may even lead to the overtime. Ultimately, France will probably move on, even if they have to force this match.

In the previous match, the Portuguese experimented a bit by using their doubles until they lost the match against Georgia. However, taking into account the huge disproportions in the skills of both teams, it should be only a matter of time in this match when the Portuguese will break the "Slovenian Wall", i.e. defeat J. Oblak, one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

In the group stage, Romania defeated Ukraine, a team with slightly less overall potential than the Netherlands team in which we see how much F. de Jong's absence from the tournament due to an injury means. The Netherlands has a world-leading defense line. One of the most effective methods of neutralizing this advantage are long-range shots, in which the Romanians can surprise. Moreover, E. Iordanescu does not have such a coaching "brand" as R. Koeman, but in our opinion he is not a worse professional than the Dutch coach.

Most likely, a similar tactic will be adopted by the USA team for the match against Panama. Defeating it would advance to the knockout phase, creating a comfortable situation before the prestigious match with Uruguay. After losing to Uruguay, Panama will play against the USA for everything. However, without some unexpected gift of fate, it may be very difficult for them to get any point in this match.

URUGUAY 🇺🇾 - 🇧🇴 BOLIVIA #URUBOL

Therefore, the decisive factor should be skills, in which Colombia has a clear advantage. It is also difficult to expect that the Colombians will underestimate their opponent like Brazil and will enter this match with concentration.

There can only be one favorite in this match, but the disappointing draw with Costa Rica meant that after some symptoms of improvement in the "Land of Coffee", the good mood returned. There are almost constant narratives that Brazil is in a structural crisis, manifested by a five-year drought in continental competition, 22 years without a world champion title and a distant, 6th place qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The match against a fighting, as usual, team from Paraguay - the popular Guarani, promises to be a surprising match. The sum of their football skills should give the Brazilians a decisive victory. But in football matters especially - psychology, which has been different in the Canarinhos team in recent years. Competition between these two teams might be very exciting and hard to predict
