@BillOddie You still make me laugh and i enjoy looking at and listening to birds and trying to work out which one is which. I remember your tip with the teeth of a comb foe the corn crake.
@thriftygreen @PregnantScrewed @GWmag@RHSPressOffice@RHSEducation Well done you. Some one once said the answer lies in the soil. You have proved that well and good. I have 6 daffodils just come out and I am hoping for more as it gets warmer plus that the tulips will come out.
@sarkwoman Love your paintings, is August the main time for art shows in the channel islands as I think a long time ago doors were open in Sark to show off paintings and drawings. I do not know what happens in all the other islands. Peter
@sarkwoman A lady artist on Sark made her lifes work to paint the coastline of Sark and she had a permanent art gallery to display her work. She made loads of very tasty fudge and was a very interesting person to talk to. I think there was an August art festival while she was there
@sarkwoman@Sark_Island It is indeed a great place to draw in Sark. I love to draw and paint there so wish I could join you. I drew the harbour, tractors, farm houses, streets, people of Sark and carridges. Did not want to go back home but all good things come to an end. I did enjoy the beach parties.
@LaSablonnerie Yes canโt wait to come to Sark, for peace and tranquility. Everybodyโs dream of life on an island where you can walk around so easily. You and become your own version of Indiana Jones and make so many discoveries to feed your creative energies
@LaSablonnerie Well done Elizabeth, i wish I was there now although its probably a bit windy. Is it about now when people scurry around getting everything done to greet the new visitors?
I am doing some research into Rover Scouting in Nottinghamshire so if any body knows of any Rover scout crews in the County of Nottinghamshire please let me know. I am interested in seeing crew log books/badges and bits of uniform that relate to Rover Scouting in Nottinghamshire
