To say if these images are truthful or not is a very tough call. With my lack of the sports industry, I find it hard to judge whether these acts, both positive and negative, are genuine or publicity stunts. If I knew more, I would be able to make a better call. #honorssocialmedia

Like any set of celebrities, professional athletes get a lot of focused attention. Their whole lives are fully blasted at all times and anything they do—whether it be positive or negative—doesn't go unnoticed. #honorssocialmedia

Last but definitely not the least is the case of OJ Simpson. The famous football player was acquitted for the double murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. In this picture, he is smiling at the camera while he sits in court. #honorssocialmedia

To bring this full circle, our surroundings demand we better understand these mediums that we are growing up with and use them to our advantage rather than blaming them for our lack of understanding. Refusing to do so is only slowing us down. #honorssocialmedia

Social media is such a huge part of our generation that imagining times without social media is really hard. If we can't imagine our lives before social media, why are we supposed to imagine our education without it? #honorssocialmedia

A common theme I've seen because of this class is that social media, traditional media, internet, and technology are all just mediums. They aren't inherently flawed. It's how we use them to adapt to our surroundings that make them great or distracting tools. #honorssocialmedia
