When Liverpool fans talk about how poorly the club is run because a player refused to sign a new contract, this Wolves situation will always be the example of what is truly a poorly run club. The manager found out he got sacked via a tweet from Fabrizio Romano. Truly pathetic
Rob Edwards had no knowledge of his sacking until rumours of Cesar Peixoto's appointment began spreading on social media.
He then phoned the club to ask about those rumours and was sacked over the phone.
Edwards was very much present in the process of signing Raul Jimenez and Kieran Trippier for the club this week.
Absolutely madness…

@amazinglydavy Yes I know what you mean, but I agree he is so good on the ball threading those passes through it would be brilliant for our forward players.
🚨 Manchester City verbal proposal to Nottingham Forest for Elliot Anderson was worth £106m + add-ons, taking it above £120m. #NFFC want British record fee guaranteed, not after bonuses. No fresh talks with #MCFC over 23yo England midfielder @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/DdanEQcqnz
@amazinglydavy Wharton is real quality for me out of the 3 of them though but yeah 100 would still be too much, Alex Scott could do with another season at Bournemouth & Anderson is just not worth that right now, but will go to City probably.
Good assessment. I still believe we have a good squad that wasn’t at their best for various reasons last season. We have lost some experience that will impact next season but I think Iraola can defo make a good inpact with some good signings
