What it leaves out: the NSA was already running that exact model for its own cyber operations, with Anthropic engineers embedded inside the agency.

- A senator relayed this from the NSA's own director, per The Economist
- It surfaced June 11, the same day Amazon found a separate jailbreak
- Within hours Trump ordered foreign access to Mythos and Fable cut off
- Anthropic shut both down completely instead

The tool the agency relied on every day is the one that broke into everything it owns.
