Saturday (2-22-20) is a big day for the Longhorns. The CHS Basketball teams host "Districts" starting at 6:30 at Paul J. Outhier Field House and some of our FFA kids kick off the stock show season. Good Luck Horns!
Today was the State CDE contest and we had students competing in 3 different contests!
Vet Science: 13th place team
Ag Comm: Bree placed 2nd place as an individual
Food Science: 9th place team; Calla placed 6th as an individual and Kamryn placed 15th
Congrats to Bree Kisling for placing 1st in Animal Science, Agribusiness, and Extemporaneous at tonightโs Northwest Area speech contest! She will compete in all 3 divisions at State on Friday!

School may be out tomorrow, but we are still hosting our annual dinner and auction tomorrow night (Feb 20) at CHS!
Bring $5 for a delicious calf fry/fried catfish dinner, then bid on your favorite students in the Labor Auction or some great items in the Silent Auction! #FFAWeek
Donโt forget to bring items for Operation Christmas Child! The drive ends WEDNESDAY. If we get enough donations to fill 35 shoeboxes, there will be a teacher fashion show!
Congrats to our FFA members who competed at tonightโs Regional Opening Ceremonies and Greenhand Quiz contest! One of the teams placed 2nd in Opening Ceremonies which means they are on to state and Emma Marlatt also placed 4th in the Greenhand quiz!
