It was a tough night for Matt Shaw not only because he failed to get a bunt down, BUT for a utility player he’s been solid this year. Much improved hitter compared to last season, a 104 wRC+ and .731 OPS compared to a 93 wRC+, .690 OPS in ‘25. Only 192 PA because he was on the IL twice and the role change, which btw a 132 wRC+ and .834 OPS vs LHP. Has played almost every position pretty well also.
