Omo, imagine having the absolute audacity to hack a whole cybersecurity student. The irony almost choked me! 💀😂
But the devil works hard, and I work harder. The account is officially recovered and we are fully back online! I know y'all missed me. Asanwa is back in the building
Something exactly like this almost happened to my close friend, Zara, back when she was sharing a self-con in university.
Zara had this roommate, let’s call her Joy. Joy was the sweetest person during the day. She was always sharing food, always complimenting Zara, and they were very close. Zara only found out about Joy's status because she accidentally saw her ARV medications in her bag one day while looking for a pen. Zara didn't judge her; she just kept quiet to respect her privacy and didn't change how she treated her.
But a few weeks later, Joy started acting very weird at night. Zara is a light sleeper, and she started noticing that around 2:00 AM, Joy would be awake, just sitting on her side of the bed in the dark, staring into space.
One particular Friday night, NEPA took the light, so the room was completely pitch black. Zara was facing the wall, pretending to be fast asleep, but she was wide awake because the heat was too much.
Suddenly, she felt the mattress dip. Joy was slowly crawling over to Zara’s side of the bed.
Zara kept her breathing heavy and steady, acting like she was deep in sleep. Through her eyelashes, she saw Joy holding a small phone torchlight, covering most of the bulb with her fingers so it only gave off a very dim glow. In Joy's other hand was a brand new sewing needle.
Zara's heart almost stopped. She watched in pure horror as Joy quietly pressed the needle into her own thumb. A small drop of blood formed. Then, Joy leaned over, aiming that exact same needle straight for Zara's exposed arm.
Before the needle could even touch her skin, Zara violently kicked the blanket up, slapping the needle out of Joy’s hand, and jumped out of the bed screaming. "What are you doing?!"
Joy completely froze. She dropped the torchlight, her hands shaking, and immediately started crying and begging. She started stammering, saying it was a "mistake" and that she was just trying to sew a torn button on her blouse in the dark and tripped. Who sews a button at 2 AM on someone else's side of the bed in pitch darkness?
Zara didn't even wait to hear the rest of the lie. She packed her most important things that exact night, ran out of the compound, and slept at a neighbor’s place until morning. The next day, she brought her brothers to the appartment and joy was no where to be found.
Till today, Zara cannot sleep in the same room with anyone, not even her own family members.
I remember when i had this absolutely ridiculous dream on a Wednesday night. In the dream, I was at the gym, specifically doing some heavy squats on the Smith machine because I have been putting in serious work to lose that stubborn belly fat and get the glutes looking absolutely massive. I was about to hit a personal best. Right as I went down for the deepest squat of my life, my favorite gym leggings ripped. But not just a small, discreet tear. It was a loud, dramatic sound, like somebody violently tearing a thick bedsheet in half. And to make it worse, my brother was standing right there in the dream, pointing and laughing like an absolute hyena instead of helping me.
I woke up the next morning, hissed, and laughed at myself. A very useless dream.
Fast forward to Friday evening. I got to the gym, feeling very pumped and wearing my best seamless leggings. I did my stretches and walked over to the Smith machine. The exact same weight plates from my dream were already loaded on the bar by the previous person. I paused for a second. The déjà vu hit me instantly.
Then, my brother actually walked over from the treadmills, holding his water bottle, and came to stand exactly where he was in the dream.
My brain started screaming, "Girl, do not squat! Abort mission! Go home!"
But the stubborn baddie ego inside me said, "It is just a dream, you cannot skip leg day just because you are scared of your own imagination."
I grabbed the bar. I positioned my legs. I took a deep breath. I went down into the squat.
*GBA-GBA-ZAARGH!*
I swear to you, it wasn't just a tear. The entire back seam of my premium seamless leggings completely exploded. The sound was so loud it somehow overpowered the gym's Bluetooth speaker. The entire gym went completely silent for two seconds.
I didn't even drop the weight. I just froze at the bottom of the squat, staring at the mirror, contemplating how to casually evaporate into thin air.
And exactly like the prophecy foretold, I heard my brother in the background, clapping his hands and laughing like an absolute madman.
I had to borrow his sweaty gym towel, tie it around my waist like a village wrapper, and waddle to my car like a penguin. I didn't go back to that specific gym for three solid weeks. Till today, I do not play with my dreams. If I dream that I tripped on a stone, I am canceling all my plans and staying in my bed for 24 hours.
It is genuinely sad to see a child hurting and pleading for a father's care, but as a woman, I have to be fair to men here.
Before society drags K1 or expects him to drop millions, a DNA test is an absolute necessity.
If the DNA matches, he should absolutely step up and do the right thing. But men shouldn't be emotionally blackmailed by the internet into emptying their pockets without hard proof. Normalize DNA tests first.
A man who proposes to you quietly in a car but has a solid plan for your future, savings in his account, and a sense of responsibility is a hundred times better than a man who wastes half a million on a 10-minute photoshoot to impress people online. Marriage is about paying bills, building wealth, and surviving real life together, not creating TikTok content.
tying a man's readiness to lead a family to his willingness to burn 500k on aesthetics, you are actually the one who is entirely unready for marriage. You are just a massive financial liability.
Anthony Edwards' baby mama, Ayesha Howard, took him to court to increase his $5,000 monthly child support.
Now the judge has ordered him to pay $3,222 per month.
