There's been some talk about enhancement costs in @MaplestoryU being too low now, but I think the prices are finally at a reasonable level compared to before for majority of players.
You only see mega whales complaining because they spent an absurd amount of money to enhance before, while the average player could only dream of making any progress.
It's funny because unless you were literally rich, you could not make any real gains in this game, but now any normal person with a normal income can play and progress, and I personally see that as a the best way forward.
But wait Neon, are you saying everything is fine and mega whales are crazy? No, obviously not.
The biggest issue affecting the game now isn't the enhancement costs...
It's the reward structure and pace of content release.
Now that 20M players can earn the same reward as 100M players, it's clear where the problem is.
Because the current version of the game severely lacks Boss content, there's no clear way to fully reward top spenders.
We all know that once Hard Will is released, whales will be happy again as long as they earn exclusive rewards.
Basically, the solution to the 'enhancement' problem comes naturally as more content is released and the game flushes everything out.
Whales should also know their items will devalue regardless if there isn't an influx of new players. Just look back every 3 months and anyone can see it's a losing game.
But is there a quick way for MSU to fix this without waiting years for more bosses to release?
Yes.
Extreme Lotus (New Version).
It doesn't require waiting for a new region and would clearly separate top spenders from average players for a long time.
It also enhances gameplay for average players since Arcane River bosses won't need to come out with such drastically increased HP.
The only adjustments needed would be to lower the boss level to around 255, and to increase the party member cap from 2 to 6.

Anyways this has been my honest thoughts and suggestions on some recent issues.
I hope the devs take notice and can see where the real issue is.
Take care!
