Congratulations to @ChloeBuso who presented her work on the development of a new assessment tool to evaluate symptoms of computer screen intolerance, a persisting concussion symptom 🧠
"At the 17th Annual Brain Injury Conference, @ChloeBuso presented her work from her MSc with #UHNconcussions, where she evaluated a flicker-free screen as a potential treatment to alleviate computer screen intolerance in patients with persisting concussion symptoms.
The success of our 11th Annual Concussion Research Symposium wouldn't have been possible without our amazing team at the Canadian Concussion Centre, our symposium director @CharlesTator, symposium chairs @MC_Tartaglia and Dr. Robin Green, and our manager Mozhgan Khodadadi!

🧠 Light PA in first 48 hours
🧠 Mild symptom increase (2/10) during physical or cognitive activity does not impair recovery

Had an amazing time sharing our work @UHNconcussions on the relationship between cause of concussion and long-term recovery. @CharlesTator thank you for including me on this project!
@Matthew_Knies has a concussion - but no fine, no penalty for Bennet.
Unacceptable that Bennet can walk away from this play with no consequences. Player safety should come first!

Michael Bunting got suspended for three games for giving someone a concussion. Sam Bennett didn't even get fined for that for doing that to Matthew Knies. He got fined for crosschecking Michael Bunting on a different play. There is no precedent or standard from @NHLPlayerSafety.
