Deeply concerned by the loss of lives and damage to property in the Pir Panjal region due to incessant rains. My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families during this difficult time. I urge the Hon'ble @CM_JnK and the Hon'ble @OfficeOfLGJandK to provide 1/2
In light of the weather warning put out by the meteorological department & the seriousness of the situation unfolding across parts of Jammu division I will leave Delhi to fly to Jammu this afternoon to personally monitor the situation on the ground. The statehood protest will go ahead under the leadership of @JKNC_ President Dr Farooq Abdullah as planned.
Since first light this morning I’ve been closely monitoring the situation arising from the extremely heavy rain in parts of Jammu, especially Rajouri town & surrounding areas. I’ve been in touch with the local MLAs of the region. While the situation continues to unfold the first priority of the administration is to safeguard precious lives. The government will do everything possible to aid & assist affected people who have suffered property loss/damage due to the rains & flash floods.
Deeply pained to learn about the sad demise of the brother of Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahib and the beloved uncle of Hon'ble CM @OmarAbdullah Sahib. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this difficult time. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdous.
The trail of destruction left behind by the cloudburst in Pahalgam is deeply distressing. Our immediate focus must be to support those who have lost their livelihoods and properties to nature's fury. Urge Admin to act swiftly and ensure proper help and relief to affected.

Every landscape leaves something behind.
The mountains teach humility, the rivers teach perseverance, and the people teach purpose.
Public service is a privilege that transcends geography. Wherever duty calls, one carries the same commitment—to serve with integrity, to keep learning, and to leave every place a little better than it was found.
Grateful for the journey. Looking ahead with optimism and purpose!
The Government has expanded the scope of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to extend financial assistance to BPL families and other eligible economically weaker sections battling life-threatening diseases.
The MLAs can now recommend support of up to ₹20 lakh annually from their CDF for treatment of cancer, organ transplants, chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis and other notified illnesses.
This initiative will help ensure timely, life-saving medical support reaches those who need it the most.

Deeply shocked by the demolition of homes belonging to marginalized families in Sidhra, Jammu, carried out by the administration today. I sincerely urge the Hon’ble Lt. Governor to look into this matter and ensure appropriate action against all those responsible for this 1/2
I strongly condemn the demolition of several residential structures belonging to poor tribal people in Sidhra Jammu today, who have been putting up there for decades. This high handedness by the administration and forest Deptt is unacceptable.
