nope, zero cost for the voice. kokoro runs fully in the visitor’s browser (kokoro-js + onnx). The weights download on demand into their tab and cache, so I’m not paying for tts at all, same trick as your mac app basically. The only thing that uses tokens is the brain and that’s on groq’s free tier.
@ukauwa_david Just to clarify, when a user interacts with this model on your portfolio it costs you tokens, right? In my case I had to load the TTS model into my Mac app on demand to avoid the cost and bloat. Is there a workaround around using open-source TTS for free?

@OlaAgunbiade Knowledge is progressive.
Perfection is a mirage.
Imposter syndrome is the lie that keeps brilliance hidden.
Teach what "you know" works.
If you've done it and it worked,teach "your experience" of it.
Everyone's framework is different.
Your authenticity is your uniqueness.
@creativestefan This would be fantastic but Figma needs to develop a way to distinguish between motion for product showcases and motion for native browsers.
Morph is a browser-based library for creating stylized visual effects with WebGL.
ASCII effects, shaders, VHS/noise/smear effects, SVG hover effects, GLB styles, GIF/video motion art, and exports for no-code tools.
Built for designers who want to add their own touch
I was working on a client project and wanted to use an ASCII-style design in one section.
I searched online, found a few options, but none gave me exactly what I needed.
So I decided to build my own tool.
That small design problem became Morph.
