My brother changed coin on Bybit, or whatever you guys usually do, and OPay locked the ₦300,000 he received. He went to their office yesterday, and they told him the money was fraudulent. Apparently, the total amount involved is ₦4 billion, scattered across 21 banks. So it’s either he gives them permission to refund the money to the person who was scammed, or he goes to court.
So basically, his ₦300k is just gone like that? Kuda has done this to me before, and I made sure I got my money back. I spent three weeks tracking that money until they finally unlocked my account. 😭
Valid as hell on the family’s part.
Cos I can’t go anywhere without my man and us going together via the same means.
If we can’t afford flight, we go use road together. Selfishness aside, it shows a great absence of care.
How do you feel safe and fine with your man being on the road then you dey hotel dey wait?😭🤦🏽♀️
Call it extreme but with the way Nigeria is, I’d feel better God forbid if anything were to happen and both of us are together. Let them take both of us or let’s both be stranded in gridlock for days. It’s part of the memories we will tell our kids, than for me to be safe and then worrying about his safety.
I literally lose my mind when my best friend travels alone and I can’t go with the igede pikin, till the goat comes back to Abj (where we can continue sharing locations and day updates even if we are in different parts of town), Then my husband to be go dey road and I go use air? Howw?!
Except I don hit head for wall and I dey marry for money not love (and even then I’d want to secure my investment/benefactor and not have him on the road).
Very valid o. Cos tf is that level of selfishness, wickedness and cold heartedness.
My husband accused me of not making him seafood egg noodles in 3 YEARS, so I had to enter the kitchen and defend my honour. 😭😂😭
Sir, THREE YEARS?! In this economy of accusations? 😂😂
Anyway, seafood egg noodles have been served. Case closed. 👩🏽🍳❤️

I dropped my car at the car wash, and they already had two cars waiting. So, instead of sitting idle, I decided to visit a nearby Domino’s Pizza spot. I boarded a keke.
The guy sitting in front of me alighted and paid the rider. Instead of giving him his N50 change, the rider just zoomed off! The guy immediately started chasing the keke, and the next thing I knew, he grabbed my leg. 😭
Omo, I quickly dipped my hand into my chest pocket and gave him N1,000. Everything happened so fast. The keke didn’t even stop.
That day, I finally understood how Jesus must have felt when He was crucified for the sins of others. 😂
This man didn’t lie and he’s not wrong at all.
Let me explain what he’s trying to say If your version of Christianity is built primarily around miracles, it is only a matter of time before technology catches up with many of the things you consider miraculous.
Christianity should be fundamentally rooted in salvation.
Salvation transforms the individual from within, shapes character, promotes love, strengthens integrity, and inspires people to live by higher moral standards.
Imagine a society where people genuinely practise these values, a country where leaders are honest, citizens are responsible, and people treat one another with love, justice, and dignity.
That is the kind of Christianity that can transform individuals, societies, and entire nations.
Miracles may attract people to Christianity, but salvation should be at its very heart.
