We.havent been tweeting a lot lately but have been quietly working away on some plans that changed this year and enjoying our Choir when we could meet. Today we had a small celebration of 4 fave songs + prize giving. Ella was awarded our Singer of the Year-totally deserved.

Singer of the Year 2020 was awarded to Maddy who has take on vocal leads and been amazing. Congratulations! Loved it when one of the kids said it's so exciting to hear who gets the award! Well done all!

On Saturday our Karen got married to Craig after 20 years! We got to sing for her wedding in New Plymouth. We had the song she arrived to. So much fun recording it and it made people cry including Craig. Awwww !

Yesterday we were very lucky to perform our postponed concert this time with social distancing and restricted audience numbers! We couldn't advertise due to the restrictions on numbers but it was a fab concert. The choir tone and new Harmonics was a real highlight.

Yesterday for our extension group, we auditioned a choir member who has been with us for many years. She has been auditioning for the Harmonics for 4 years. She had a spectacular audition it made us cry! She was so humble not expecting to get in. So so proud of her.

Rehearsals for 2020 begin on Sunday 2 Feb. 3pm for The Major Minors with 4pm auditions for the Harmonics at "The Spot" 651 Fergusson Drive Upper Hutt.
