@tylerbarberis_ They've allowed 6 runs in each of the last 3 games and have lost them all. This team doesn't have good enough pitching to be taken seriously. This is who they are, a team that's gonna be around 2-5 games below .500 all season.
@jcalvinmeyer It also featured a banged up Basallo getting in late instead of Rutschman who isn't banged up as far as we know. It would be funny if the most protected catcher in MLB decided not to stay here.
It would be really funny if Rutschman decided not to sign an extension to stay here. He's the most protected catcher in MLB. Case in point: instead of putting him late in the game tonight, they put in a banged up Basallo instead. #Orioles
@birdlandminute Yes, the ump fucked up but so did their defense. It all started with Gunnar' error. Holliday should've just eaten the ball and Alonso made a terrible throw. And once again Alby was too late taking out his SP.
@Olsen_Don Just another stupid trade speculation that has no merit whatsoever. You're assuming that Elias is even in a position to make this type of deals. They need to win as many games as possible to save his job. He's most likely gone if they finish this season with a losing record.
@SleeperOrioles Elias can't afford to make this type of deals. They may or may not have to make the playoffs for him to keep his job but he'll most likely get fired if they finish with a losing record this season.
@SleeperOrioles@JeffPassan Mike Elias' job isn't guaranteed for life like some would have you believe. He can't afford to make these punt for next year type deals this season. They need to win as many games as possible now for him to keep his job.
@kambrice1tv Why? O's ain't gonna win the WS this year with or without Skubal so what exactly would be the purpose of renting him for a couple months at a very steep price??
