For those who don't know. This is former chairperson of Daybreak Farms Bojane Segooa. She was so terrible at her job that she:

1. Oversaw the starvation of 594,000 breeder birds across farms in Bela-Bela and Mookgopong.

2. Did not pay her employees, people lost jobs because of her. Imagine with such high unemployment, there is someone, a black woman of all people, purposefully running a company into ruin knowing fully well that people depend on those jobs.

Mind you, Daybreak Farms (officially Daybreak Foods), is 100% owned by the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), which is the South African government's "asset management firm".

Because of her incompetence the government lost over R2 billion in public funds attempting to bail out the collapsing farm.

Now, tell me why, after costing us R2 billion is she now employed by NSFAS as a member of the audit and risk committee. What risk will she be assessing? The risk of not getting caught when u r incompetent????

The goal was always supposed to be bringing LEO to South Africa, right? Well, here it is now. Except it has actually been for the last two years, just not through Starlink through Amazon. You knew this.

Which raises the obvious rhetorical question: what was all of this for?

The failed ICASA directive. The proposed ECA amendment that is almost certain to be another failure. The enormous personal political capital spent defending both. None of it was necessary to bring LEO services to South Africa. It may have been so for Starlink, not LEO itself. You knew this.

Starlink and its paid acolytes in the DA managed to convince you that fighting for Starlink was the battle worth fighting for. It wasn’t. You have paid an enormous price: your reputation is all but dust. One of failure, wild goose chases and serving singular business interests and not, South Africa.

My dear brother, that genuinely breaks my heart. It is gravely disappointing. You serve South Africa, remember that. Put it first.
