Did you know MPs in Malaysia make abt 10x the national median wage?

Did you know a teacher who served 30 years would get less in pensions compared to an MP who served for 9 years?
Some argue it is coz MPs dont have security of tenure so their take home pay is higher. Agree? 😁

Tomorrow: MP perks and allowances.
And we compare MP allowance : national median wage ratio of Malaysia and Singapore.
There is a calculator for assemblypersons (Adun) pensions, too.
To get the data & formula, @choonnam and Iman Dimyati had to find and go through all the state legislations. Not easy.
Ps: Some state excos get more than federal ministers!
