Growing up without a father I realized something important, it’s not always in the form of a father where you may have or receive that type of fatherly guidance. I looked to God, I looked to coaches, I looked to family friends, older men. So thank you to every positive male role model that we have in our lives.

Remember it may not always be the way you want, but u can be damn sure it’s going to be exactly what you need, it’s all about looking for the positives, learning to adapt and understand that not everything is supposed to happen in some picture perfect way & that is alright! This is the true test of life…are u willing to still get up each day and work towards the life you want…no matter the circumstance, OR are u going to allow life to hold u back & down because of the cards u have been delt? I choose to fight. I choose to learn from the pain. I choose LIFE.

It’s not what happens to us..but how we react, learn and grow from it.
