The updated version of Chordle should be downloadable from the store now - checking for updates will force the download. Thanks for your patience over the last couple of days while we've been fixing syncing!
As such, we have had to make the hard decision to deprecate the OneDrive syncing feature on the Windows 8.1 version of Chordle. If you have the option to upgrade your device to Windows 10 we would encourage you to do so, although we understand that this may not always be possible
An updated version of the Windows 10 app is being processed in the @windowsstore now. This will resolve the issues that people have been having with OneDrive syncing.
Unfortunately the work required to get this working in the Windows 8.1 version of the app proved to be more complex than the Windows 10 version due to compatibility of libraries that we needed to make use of.
We're in final testing for an updated version that will resolve the syncing issue. This fix will only apply to the Windows 10 version of Chordle. Once that is released to the store we will investigate the feasibility of getting the same changes applied to the Windows 8 version.
Good progress has been made updating the OneDrive sync framework - as things currently stand we are optimistic that a complete fix will be available by the end of the week.
@Razinni Hi Ed, apologies for the inconvenience - it looks like the APIs that were being used for syncing have been deprecated. We're working to resolve this ASAP https://t.co/ATHvpK9ggR
