I can’t believe this fandom is being deadass right now. As soon as that gun was put in Vi’s face Caitlyn aims at it (THE GUN). The show emphasizes Isha’s finger to show what Caitlyn is focused on. Her reaction time and her accuracy saves Vi’s life. She’s a protector.
Y’all act like vi falling in love with caitlyn is impossible bc you all reduce caitlyn’s character to just a cop and ignore the obvious things about her that made vi love her as if we didn’t see how cait became vi’s safe place in a short amount of time despite being an enforcer
i’m thinking about the line “who decides who gets a second chance”. we know vi’s mostly referring to jinx here, but i feel that there’s a part of her that’s talking about caitlyn as well. vi is very good when it comes to gauging other people’s emotions, especially caitlyn’s
we don't see what happened after cait goes down here but i still genuinely believe she leaned down because she wanted to kiss vi again and taste herself and—[EXPLOSION]
I finished it and I have even more than that so I'm thinking to post it all now ar a little bit later? 🙂 I know your answer, just say it - one word and Im posting it
Not enough people appreciate Cait's huge range as a character:
- nerdy, awkward, FUNNY
- confident, commanding, cool AND hot-tempered
- gentle, sweet, observant
- horny, flirty, romantic
People called her boring in S1 & hate her in S2 but she has the most interesting range FR.
it breaks my heart how personally and deeply caitlyn took this when that was never the intention; she felt so much guilt & shame in telling her father she had the shot earlier that it feels like she was really trying to prove something to everyone, but mostly to herself
@sapphosz She also didnt pick up on Jinx's emotional state when she released her from the cell. Vi was in her own emotions and oblivious to Jinx's at that moment. They were both stuck in their own shit. It's not that hard to understand, but if there's a character bias people ignore/miss it
if you really listen to what vi was saying here, she thought her sister went back to her old tricks. she doesn’t sound like someone who believes her sister is gonna off herself
I think what pisses me off the most about this whole discourse, revolving around by Vi chasing after Jinx is that people are advocating for Vi to have zero character growth. does that mean that in order for her to grow she has to not gaf about jinx? NO. Vi’s arc is about -
This Ekko lost his father figure, Vi, Powder, Claggor, Mylo, and Vander all in one night. He had to grow up too quickly and become a leader, to make a difference, to build a community, to help people. This boy who cries so easily because he was deprived of his childhood +
i just officially processed that Caitlyn and Vi live together now.. wait you DONT understand.
The domestic Caitvi you see in the fanfics.. It's REAL. They love eachother so much that they want to live every single DAY together. In THEIR house. It is CANON. ARE U HEARING ME??/
