👍 Capcom Officially Confirms Resident Evil Veronica Is Being Developed on RE ENGINE.

📄 In a newly published press release, Capcom President and Representative Director Haruhiro Tsujimoto shared additional details about Resident Evil Veronica, providing several new official confirmations regarding the project.

According to the statement, Resident Evil Veronica is scheduled for release in 2027 and is being developed as the latest entry in the Resident Evil series. The game is a remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica, originally released in 2000.

The company stated that the development team aims to preserve the appeal of the original game while reimagining its story for a modern audience. Capcom also officially confirmed that the remake is being developed using the company's proprietary RE ENGINE and will feature high-quality graphics powered by the latest technologies available to the development team.
