@seanmcarroll I have had this thought about other debates, that they secretly turn on one's position re: eternalism/presentism. But I think I would be a one-boxer even if I thought presentism were true. Being vaguely Humean about causation seems enough.

@fitelson This seems quite important. If it's just one state that decides things, I can imagine the Republican legislature there doing something untoward with the selection of electors. But I can't see that happening if multiple states all have to go along.
