Greek champion Nikiforos Arvanitou to chase the WorldTour dream at XDS Astana 🇬🇷 No Greek rider has raced for a WorldTour team lately (last time 2013) and now 23-year-old Arvanitou will try to change that. According to my info, the deal is done and from August 1st he will join XDS Astana as a stagiaire. Whether this will eventually lead to a full WorldTour contract remains to be seen, but I’ll definitely be cheering for him. Plus this is also another great example of how well the Hungarian Continental team United Shipping is developing riders for the next level. 📷: marchives.raw
