You said that there was nothing to answer for. The false valuations were done for a reason - to get a better deal by lying. That's fraud. What's so hard about that?

@JulieJonas18 @toJamesConnor The answer to that is simple. Businesses that loan money price the interest rate on the risk they are taking. If the risk is hidden with inflated property valuations, the interest rate will be too low. That's fraud, the fact that the loan was repaid is irrelevant.
