@spursblogger @MartinCloake@AbyssTalks@MrCracknell@danielwynne_ Fully endorse those sentiments. In an image obsessed industry they were never ‘cool’ but the songs have long stood the test of time. They generally end their shows with ‘Black Coffee In Bed’ and the roof usually comes off! Magical.
@MartinCloake@AbyssTalks @spursblogger @MrCracknell@danielwynne_ Squeeze are still going strong. Just supported Hall and Oates in US and you can catch them at the O2 & Wembley supporting Madness next week. Difford & Tilbrook remain one of the finest songwriting partnerships the UK has produced. But I’m a massive fan so unashamedly biased.
@adampowley I don’t care who you support, if that Regis goal and accompanying commentary doesn’t bring a smile to your face I’d worry you don’t appreciate football. The whole sequence is a thing of beauty.
@covyid@lauraoakley81 How old are you? 12? Let me just say this. You want to have a pop at three fellow Spurs fans who’ve travelled 200 miles on a Sunday to support the team. Where were you? Strange thing to get angry about. But you have a good night now.
@adampowley Think they used 14 players all season. Can you imagine that now? Midfield 4 still so vivid in my mind. Morley, Mortimer, Cowans & Bremner. All guided by the no nonsense Ron Saunders. Terrific side.
@SteveArchibald8 To this day Steve I don’t know how your shot got cleared off the line just before Whelan equalised. Would have been game over. We defended so well that day but Liverpool were so resilient and never gave in. Superb side.
