@dotsonc JJ Wetherholt has a lot of defensive value by playing an up the middle position well. They are closer to the same hitter than one would think because their OPS+ is close and that adjusts for hitting environment. That is why JJ's WAR is so much higher.

@fiago7 There's usually very little constructed in straightaway centerfield because that is the direction the batter is looking towards. It's usually very plain so the batter can see the baseball easier. It's a feature called "the batter's eye"

@TigersData I think it’s less of every 20 pitches is a day of rest, and more of 60+ needs a full 4 days. Though we are probably moving closer to something like this, just would be tough to implement mid season, and expect 8+ pitchers to stay healthy.
@PeterAppel23 Glenallen Hill hit a HR on the roofs across the street in that vicinity. They say the building is 460 from home plate. and that Hill's HR was just over 500 feet.
