"Congratulations on winning the gold medal... We're really proud of you!"
Matthew and Brady Tkachuk were back in St. Louis today, and brought their Olympic gold medals to Children's Hospital. Safe to say there were smiles all around.
Every Father's Day I'd like cinemas to have a "Dad Slop" slate. Shit like The Fugitive, Patriot Games, Lethal Weapon and Tombstone. Make it an all dayer and serve brews and biscuits between films. Printing money.
It might come across like Keaton Wagler propaganda but I’ve just rarely been convicted about a prospect as much as I am with him.
• Positional size with tons of physical maturity left to go
• High level three point shooter
• Strong shot profile and FTr, puts pressure on rim
• Low TO, controls possessions
• Good to very good creator
• Neutral defender but smart team defender
• Strong character, competitive, chip on his shoulder
• Limited access/research on his background, family, and upbringing checks out positively
This an elite, elite prospect. A late bloomer who is only scratching the surface. Teams should be jumping over each other in attempt to trade up to #5 to select him.
I like a bunch of these guard prospects.
The question I like to ask myself?
How are any of these prospects better than or different from Jordan Poole, Immanuel Quickley, Jalen Green or Zach LaVine (all offensive minded w/ skill but not really thriving in the #NBA right now.
Katie Dippold’s “Widow’s Bay” is one of the rare few that can blend humor and horror without sacrificing either. “It is easily one of the best shows of the year,” Rachel Syme writes.

For the record, I would NOT trade up (to #5 or 6) and give up a future first (even in 2031) if I am the Kings.
The difference between any of the prospects available is not worth a first round pick imo.
Use pick number seven and take the best player available.
I’ve been going back and forth on the top guard prospects in the 5-7 range of the draft, but here’s where I’m at right now.
5. LAC: Keaton Wagler
6. BKN: Mikel Brown Jr.
7. SAC: Darius Acuff Jr.
I believe these three guards will be next off the board after the top four.
THIS FUCKING SCENE, the way Tom goes from gentle amusement to gradual realisation to sheer horror and then a disbelief so desperate it makes him almost angry. And then the despair, the grief, the belated love for his son’s grandmother 💔 Give Matthew Rhys the Emmy NOW #WidowsBay
